We work with processing firms and food solutions suppliers to develop value-added products for retail and foodservice markets.

We support many of the world’s leading food brands though our international network of manufacturing sites and commitment to new product development.

Bowmans remained a successful family run business for many years, more recently run by Rory Bowman, great-grandson of the founder. In 2020, the ownership of the business was transferred to Solina, a global presence in the food ingredients and solutions sector.

Our UK headquarters in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, houses our Ingredients and Milling divisions. In South Africa and Thailand our manufacturing sites also feature production facilities for food coatings and flour.

Our expertise in cereal technology allows us to maintain complete control of the manufacturing process. This enables us to guarantee the highest level of product quality and consistency in the development of exclusive flours and bespoke coating products for our customers.
